Kent Wright is a native Texan, transplanted from the piney woods of N. East Texas to the state capital of Austin in the early '90s. In previous decades, he had became interested in the paranormal after numerous personal experiences, all lacking suitable explanation.
After High School, he became interested in Physics, Biology, and Computer Science, entering college to pursue education in each field. His "master plan" of landing a position at the (then) newly proposed, and partially built, "Super Conducting Super Collider" (SCSC) particle accelerator to be built around the town of Waxahachie, Texas, fell short when the project was canned in 1993. Luckily, a little thing know as the Internet was starting to come into it's own. Enter "the day job".
As the idea of paranormal research and outreach was being hatched, he was relieved to employee the other 2/3 of his education and put it to use. With a competent working knowledge of physical laws and biological systems, he found himself armed with a better-than-average debunking system for researching his other passion, the paranormal. Thus, T-arc was born to help others in a similar fashion to his own "sanity check" methods of years past. Kent still lives in the Central Texas region along with his beautiful wife Brenda and their five awesome children, some of which involve themselves with his unusual night job. He works as a Systems / Network administrator, and is also active in the sciences as part of an LHC cross-section group (signal hunters) and biological research in Cytology. He also volunteers time to his community as a water quality monitor for the great state of Texas, where he is a member of the "Texas Stream Team" based at Texas State's Meadows Center for Water and the Environment. And that's a lot of Texas, ya'll! Hook 'em!
